A Season of New Beginnings

The first half of this year has been the busiest stretch of my career, and most of it happened quietly, in the studio and in inboxes I wasn't ready to talk about yet. I'm ready now, and I have a lot to tell you.

I'm honored to share that my work is now with 33 Contemporary Gallery, with locations in Chicago and here in Florida. This is in addition to my continued representation with Xanadu Art Gallery in Scottsdale, where you can view my collection here.  33 Contemporary lists my work on Artsy, if you'd like to see it there.

Of the five pieces 33 Contemporary accepted, two went on to a second recognition I did not see coming. Wings of Tender Radiance, my roseate spoonbill painting, and Flight Through Quiet Reflection were both selected for the 101 Art Book: Nature Edition 2026, releasing this fall through Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

A third piece, Echoes of a Sandhill's Sunrise Ballet, earned the 2026 International Artist Award and will appear in The Great Book of Art Makers 2026, currently in production.

And one more. Whispers Along the Water's Edge, the pair of egrets I finished earlier this year, will be part of Art Inspired by Nature, a juried online exhibition running September 15 through November 15, hosted by The Healing Power of Art & Artists and Manhattan Arts International in New York. (will share link to this exhibition when I receive it.)

I'm telling you all of this at once because that's how it landed on me too. Five things, in a matter of weeks, after months that felt like nothing but quiet, steady work with no guarantee any of it would go anywhere. I wanted you to know, because you've been part of this with me, whether you've followed a painting from the first photo of an underpainting to this, or you're just finding your way here now.
